Finally, there is proof that The Hobbit is happening.
Entertainment Weekly published three photos of Peter Jackson's upcoming prequel to The Lord of the Rings trilogy. The issue of EW releases tomorrow, June 24, and I will surely be picking it up.
Although we have to wait over a year for the movie, with a release date of December 12, 2012 - I am more excited about this movie then I was of the epic length LOTR trilogy. The Hobbit was a book shoved down my throat in both high school and on my journey as a English major in college.
